Salman Khan-Rashmika Mandanna age gap in Sikandar
The trailer of Salman Khan`s much-awaited Sikandar was released on Sunday. While the makers promise a different plot, what remains the same from his previous films is the actor romancing younger heroines. In this case, it is Rashmika Mandanna.
Ever since their on-screen pair was announced, buzz about their 31-year age gap has been going on. At a recent press meet, Salman gave a bold and befitting reply to the same question.
When asked about the huge age gap between him and Rashmika, the actor said, "They say there is a 31-year difference between the heroine and me. If the heroine doesn`t have any problem or the heroine`s father doesn`t have any problem, then why do you have a problem?"
Salman Khan`s punchline made the room erupt with laughter. However, he didn`t stop there.

The actor further added, "And when she (Rashmika)gets married and has a daughter and then she becomes a big star, then also we will work (together). We will get the mother`s (Rashmika`s) permission for sure."
At the same press event, Salman praised the Chhava actress`s dedication and discipline towards her craft and said she reminded him of his "younger self".
"She has given her best. She used to finish shooting Pushpa 2 at 7 pm and would join us at 9 pm and would work till 6.30 in the morning and go back to work on Pushpa 2. Then after breaking her leg, she continued shooting with us and didn`t cancel a single day of shooting. She reminds me a lot of younger me," Salman quoted about his co-star.
Sikandar will see a theatrical release on Eid 2025. This is not the first time Salman Khan is aiming to deliver a blockbuster film on the festive Friday. He never misses the tradition; however, Sikandar will see a Sunday release instead of a Friday.
In 2023, his film Tiger 3 was also released on a Sunday, which coincided with Diwali. This made trade experts and movie critics question his decision to miss out on capitalizing on the festive weekend.
Apart from Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, the film also stars Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Pratiek Babbar, and Sathyaraj in prominent roles.
Sikandar will release on March 30 in cinemas near you.
