All eyes are set for Vijay's upcoming Tamil film Leo as its trailer releases tomorrow. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film is touted to be an action film, and the first-look posters have already created a lot of intrigue among Vijay's fans. Along with the excitement of seeing the megastar back on screen, a roaring question among the masses is whether the Vijay film will beat Shah Rukh Khan's
Jawan and break its current record.

The first look at the film was shared by Vijay on his Instagram in June this year. Ever since then, it has caused quite an uproar among fans to see Vijay in a completely different avatar. In the poster, Vijay is seen killing a fox with a hammer, as there is a look of anguish on his face. The title of the film is stylized as a stamp in red with Leo written in capital, setting the mood for the film. In the subsequent posters shared, some quotes were written on the posters that had Vijay donning various expressions.
In the Kannada poster released in September, it says, "Keep calm and plot your escape".
The quote in the Tamil poster reads, "Keep calm and prepare for battle." While the Hindi poster also features
Sanjay Dutt, establishing him as the villain of the film, as the quotes say, "Keep calm and face the devil."
Will Leo beat Jawan at the box-office?
After the series of posters, it remains to be seen what exactly the film offers in terms of its story. Vijay is surely giving all the serious feels with his intense looks. The film has the capacity to fight with the mammoth box-office numbers of Jawan, as Vijay has given multiple blockbusters in the past. Written and directed by Kanagaraj himself, the film is part of the Lokesh cinematic universe, with the previous two films being Kaithi (2019) and Vikram (2022).
Meanwhile, Jawan is still going strong in theaters and has already crossed Rs 1100 crore at the worldwide box office. Soon, it will reach the lifetime earnings of KGF 2 and RRR.
