Kangana Ranaut. The filmmaker and actress have time and again questioned Bollywood's practices, logic, and beliefs.

"Flagbearer of nepotism", the other lost faith in the Hindi film industry after his much-controversial movie

"propaganda."Recently Vivek Agnihotri and Chameli director Sudhir Mishra sat down for an intense discussion on films, politics, and everything in between. The video of the same was shared on YouTube. During this conversation,
The Kashmir Files director suggested it is only he and Kangana Ranaut who has been questioning Bollywood in the past few years.
Vivek Agnihotri On Questioning Bollywood
The two filmmakers sat down and discussed issues in their respective films,
political issues, and today's audience and their ideologies. In the conversation, it so happened, Vivek questioned Sudhir why doesn't he speak about Bollywood more, and cited the example of the Tanu Weds Manu actress.
Agnihotri said,
'Bollywood ko kisne question kiya 4-5 saalo mein? Except for Kangana and me?' (Who has questioned Bollywood in the last 4-5 years? except for Kangana Ranaut and me?) To which, Mishra replied,
'Humari toh puri zindagi hi he, question.' (My entire life is only a question.)
Vivek then pointed out that Sudhir used to be quite vocal about his views on Bollywood earlier.
'Aap karte the pehle, ab nahi he aap. Aap karte the questions, publicly karte the, now you've stopped,' he said.
To which, Mishra replied,
'No, I have not stopped. It is now as if this film industry is responsible for all the ills in the world. It is not. It is just a reflection of this society, jaise ye samaj he waise hi kuch log he.' (Just like the society, Bollywood also is made of the same people).
Kangana Ranaut And Her Bollywood Brawls
The Manikarnika actress has never shied away from expressing her thoughts out loud. She has been rather vocal about her perception of some bizarre and unfair practices in Bollywood.
Recently, after the monstrous success of Pathaan, Kangana Ranaut had quoted,
"Film industry is so crass and crude that whenever they want to project success of any endeavor/creation/art they throw flashing currency digits in your face as if art has no other purpose. it exposes their lowly standards and the kind of deprived lives they live."This is not the first time she has been blunt. There were many incidents involving celebrities like Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan, Taapsee Pannu, and more who became her victim.
Sudhir Mishra On The Kashmir Files
After the political drama on the Kashmiri Pandits exodus was released, Sudhir Mishra had tweeted about
The Kashmir Files, which led Vivek Agnihotri to invite the former on his podcast.
Sudhir's tweet read,
'Liberals complain about Kashmir Files. Why? Vivek Agnihotri made a film and his audience came to theatres and saw it. But when we make films our audience who criticize Vivek sit on their arse and don't come to the theatre. Sorry, I had to say it. #afwaah.'To which, Agnihotri replied,
'Why should anyone attack anyone? It's not a war. Sudhir is my senior and a celebrated filmmaker, I have deep respect for him."
