Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal fans are elated and excited after the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on November 7. The couple tied the knot in 2021 in the opulent Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, in an intimate ceremony.
Ever since then, they have been the most spoken-about couple in the tinsel town. After three and a half years of marital bliss, Vicky and Katrina are all set to embrace a new chapter of their lives – parenthood.
Over the years, the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actress has been rumoured to be pregnant multiple times. Be it vacationing in London with her husband or attending any event and covering her belly, the mommy-to-be has finally made it official on social media.
Though she has always kept her personal life private, Katrina Kaif once revealed being married and having kids is extremely important for her.
When Katrina Kaif expressed her desire to have children
In an old interview in 2010, the Tiger 3 diva sat down with The Cosmopolitan for a rather candid chat, where she expressed her desire to want a "happily ever after".
Long before she got married to Vicky, the actress said, “It would be different for different people. But for me, it’s very important.”

She further added, “I belong to that mindset where having a husband and children is very important. I dream of being married and having kids and living happily ever after. That’s me.”
Despite being portrayed as a modern, free-thinking woman, this conveys how family-orientated Katrina is. Reports suggest she is currently in her third trimester and is expected to give birth between October 15 and October 30.
Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif`s pregnancy announcement
Bollywood`s sweethearts are all set to embark on a new chapter of their lives, as they announced their pregnancy on Tuesday. Taking it to Instagram, they shared a joint post with a monochrome Polaroid picture.
In the same, Katrina can be seen cradling her baby bump as Vicky adorably caresses the same. Sharing the same, the parents-to-be wrote, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude."

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s Love and War. As for Katrina Kaif, she is planning to take a maternity break after giving birth to focus on motherhood.
