It`s official! Amid all the speculation, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif share some exciting news. They are expecting their first child, and needless to say, their fans are ecstatic and elated. The couple who tied the knot in December 2021 are all set to embrace the new chapter of parenthood.
The announcement came with a heartfelt caption and a monochrome photo of the two holding a Polaroid picture. In the same, Katrina can be seen flaunting her cute baby bump while Vicky was seen caressing it with love.
Taking it to Instagram, the parents-to-be shared a joint post and wrote, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude."

The couple has been in the centre of speculation as rumours of their pregnancy have been going viral. It was on Tuesday, September 23, that they chose to reveal the exciting news themselves on social media.

Reports suggest Katrina Kaif is currently in her third trimester and is due between October 15 and October 30. While nothing has been officially confirmed, sources close to the development say the couple prefer to keep the news private and may choose to announce once the baby is born.
When Vicky Kaushal commented on Katrina`s pregnancy
With all the rumours taking over the internet, the couple still chose to be tight-lipped about their personal lives. It was during the promotion of Kaushal`s film, Bad Newwz, that he was asked about the same.
Vicky channelled his witty side and said, "As far as the good news is concerned (the couple being pregnant), we will be very happy to share it with you, but for now, there is no truth to the speculation. Abhi Bad Newz enjoy kijiye, jab good news ayega toh hum aapke saath zarur share karenge (Till then enjoy the film, Bad Newz, and when we are ready with the good news, we will share with you)."
Katrina Kaif is likely to take a maternity break after giving birth, as she wants to focus on being a doting mother. On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s Love and War.
