When mommy Kiara Advani desired to have two kids
New parents in town, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, are beyond ecstatic as they are blessed with a baby girl. The couple who announced their pregnancy in February earlier this year welcomed their first child on Tuesday, July 15.
Kiara was admitted to Mumbai`s Reliance Hospital, where she delivered a baby girl via a normal delivery. Both the mother and the child are happy and healthy.
The couple officially announced the exciting news on Instagram with a joint post, which read, "Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl. Kiara and Sidharth."

Kiara Advani`s desire to have two kids
Amid the exciting news of the Shershaah couple embracing the new chapter of parenthood, an old interview of the new mommy has been surfacing all over the internet. In the interview, she expressed her desire to have two healthy children, a girl and a boy.

This was during the promotion of her film JugJugg Jeeyo, when she was asked about her thoughts on pregnancy. Advani jokingly said, “I only want to get pregnant so that I can eat whatever I want and let go.”
When asked if she would ever want twins or a baby girl or a boy, the War 2 actress said, “I just want two healthy children that God will gift me.” Kiara further stated she would like to have one boy and one girl.
Kiara Advani further shared that she would love to have all the qualities of actress Kareena Kapoor in her baby girl – the swag, the style, the aura, and the confidence.
When Sidharth Malhotra manifested to become a girl dad
Sidharth, who is a proud father, is also excited to have a baby girl. One of his old interviews has also been doing the rounds where he shared his mother Rimma Malhotra`s wish to have a baby girl in a family filled with boys.

Talking to comedian Zakir Khan a couple of months earlier, the Mission Majnu actor said, "Humlog do bhai the aur mom humesha bolti thi koi toh shaadi karo, bachche karo. Mere bhai ka bacha hua toh vo bhi ladka, nephew hi hai ek. Meri maa ko abhi bhi umeed hai ki ek toh ladki ho parivaar mein. (We’re two brothers, and Mom would always say, ‘At least one of you get married and have kids.’ My brother had a child, and he’s a boy. So there’s just one nephew. My mom still hopes there will be at least one girl in the family."
It seems the universe has fulfilled what the couple manifested.
