Dilijit Dosanjh has made all of us fall for him with his sensational songs. Recently he rocked the stage at Coachella and became the first Punjabi singer to ever perform at the music festival in Indio, California. Diljit hit the stage on Sunday and made everyone groove with his hit songs. He styled a black Kurta-Tamba with a matching black turban.

For those who do not know, Coachella is a famous music and arts festival held in California and marks the presence of prominent artists from all over the world including Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny, K-pop sensations BLACKPINK and musician Frank Ocean.

Diljit donned the avatar of a Punjabi Munda and won hearts with his energetic performance he also shared a glimpse of his concert on his Instagram handle. Have a look.

However, Diljit was not the only Indian artist to perform at Coachella 2023. Jai Paul, another spectacular Indian artist made it to the music festival's roster. An Indian-British musician, Paul is known as one of the mysterious pop artists of today's time.

Diljit's performance at Coachella was a matter of pride for the nation and several Bollywood stars also praised him and congratulated him for his achievement. The photos and videos of the singer delivering a monstrous stage-shattering performance are getting viral on all social media.


Apart from this many Bollywood stars including Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt took to their Instagram accounts to share clips of the singer and applauded his achievement. Have a look.


Jab We Met director Imtiaz Ali, who was also present at the music festival with his lovely daughter Ida, took to his Instagram handle and proudly shared a clip of the star rocking on the stage. The caption read, "saadda vir te saaddi kudi #coachella ich @diljitdosanjh you make us proud #firstindianatcoachella glad you could make it @idaali11."

For the unversed, the Lover singer isn't the first Indian artist to perform at Coachella. Before him, it was Raveen Aurora to represent India as the first woman at the music festival. Along with her originals, she also sang her own version of the iconic Bollywood song Dum Maaro Dum. Another addition to the list is DJ Nasha aka Ritesh D'Souza. He was the first ever Indian artist to perform at Coachella along with Tara Mae.
