War 2 Trailer: Hrithik-Kiara Share A Steamy Kiss, Jr NTR Comes In All Guns Blazing
War 2 has become one of the most anticipated movies, thanks to the terrific trio of Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr NTR. The makers unveiled the trailer of War 2 on Friday, taking the internet by storm. It is all things action, drama, romance, chemistry, intense stunts, patriotism, and everything in between.
The trailer opens with Hrithik declaring his loyalty for the country by living in his own shadow. Jr. NTR`s character vows that he will make himself capable of doing all those things that no one can or has ever imagined doing.
While one might have imagined Roshan fighting for the country and NTR being the villain, the two play lead protagonists who are on a mission to put "India first."
War 2 trailer breakdown
The trailer is packed with high-octane action and jaw-dropping stunts. However, the makers have deliberately not revealed too much about the plot.
Tiger Shroff, who was a pivotal part of the first franchise with his character passing away, makes a short cameo in the trailer. Hrithik pays tribute to his character and vows to take revenge for everything he lost. He also swears to completely detach himself from everyone, including people he ever loved, and surrender his soul to the country.

Kiara Advani also makes a brief appearance in the beginning of the clip. When one thinks she is playing Hrithik`s love interest, another transition shows she is going head-to-head with him in a dramatic action sequence.
Her sensational bikini avatar also adds the oomph factor, but it is clear that Kiara`s role is bigger, more meaningful, and more contributive to the script than that of Vaani Kapoor`s in the first installment.
Ashutosh Rana, who played a prominent role in the 2019 release, reprises his character and reminds the viewers that “This is war.”
As the trailer ends, both Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR recite shlokas from Bhagvad Gita. As per the Hindu holy text, these were the lines recited by Lord Krishna to Arjuna in Kurukshetra before he went for a battle against his brothers.

The second installment of the much-awaited action drama is helmed by Ayan Mukerji, while Yash Raj Films continues to back the action drama in their Spy Universe. It includes the first part of War, all of Salman Khan`s Tiger franchise, and Shah Rukh Khan`s Pathaan.
While SRK`s Pathaan and Salman`s Tiger have made cameos in each other`s films, Hrithik`s Kabir is yet to cross paths with them. Will we see the terrific trio in the upcoming movie?
War 2 will release on August 14 in cinemas near you. It will clash with Rajinikanth`s Coolie.
