Vishal Bhardwaj Opens On Fallout With Shahid Kapoor At O`Romeo Trailer Launch

Vishal Bhardwaj addresses fallout rumors with Shahid Kapoor
The much-awaited Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor duo are back with a banger, and this time, a gory gangster takes over the streets of Mumbai with O`Romeo.
The duo reunited after seven long years. Their last stint was the 2017 release, Rangoon, which was also a reason for the actor-filmmaker`s fallout.
Reports suggested that creative differences and tensions on the set rose after Shahid interfered in Bhardwaj`s filmmaking process. However, with O`Romeo, the rumours have been put to rest, especially after Vishal opened up on the tiff between the two.

Reflecting on the heated clashes and fallout with the actor, the filmmaker admits that creative disagreements do exist, but at times, they are only exaggerated.
He said, "We also have many fights, and those fights are known to the media more, but there aren`t that many fights between us. We`ve formed a bond between us like Laxmikant-Pyarelal, like Kalyanji-Anandji."

Bhardwaj blamed his own short-tempered nature, crediting Kapoor for dealing with the same with maturity and understanding.
"Shahid understands my passive-aggression and that I`m a very difficult man to work with. Shahid should get a National Award for doing four films with me. We complement each other," he added.
O`Romeo marks the duo`s fourth collaboration after Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon. When asked why their partnership brings out some of the best stories, Vishal Bhardwaj is himself clueless on this.
He explained, "I still don`t understand the reason why this magic is created. Just like wind is not visible to us but it is there, this magic that is created in our work - I don`t know why and how it happens."
O`Romeo is scheduled to release on February 13 in cinemas near you. It will clash with Shanaya Kapoor`s Tu Yaa Main.
