Vikrant Massey has been soaring high on the critically acclaimed success of his latest releases. The actor married Sheetal Thakur in 2022 after dating for quite some time. On Sunday, the actor and his wife took to Instagram and announced their pregnancy.
Congratulations are in order for Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur, as they are
expecting their first child. The couple took to Instagram and shared a rather quirky post announcing the good news.
Playing around with paper clips, the
Mirzapur actor's Instagram post was all about a big clip with a small baby clip, hinting at Sheetal's pregnancy. Sharing a joint post with his wife, the actor wrote, 'New beginnings (sic)."
Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur's love story
For the uninitiated, Sheetal Thakur is an actor herself. Hailing from Dharamshala, she left her hometown to
pursue modeling and acting in Mumbai. She made her acting debut with the Punjabi film Bambukat in 2016.
Vikrant and Sheetal have known each other since 2015. The two worked together in the 2018 show, Broken But Beautiful. They fell in love on the sets and secretly got engaged in 2019 in an intimate ceremony with their close friends and family in attendance.
After shifting dates due to the deadly coronavirus, the couple finally
tied the knot on February 18, 2022. Theirs was again an intimate wedding with traditional ceremonies like haldi, mehendi, pheras, and vidaai.
They looked extremely happy and overjoyed on their D-day. While Sheetal Thakur wore a stunning red lehenga, Vikrant Massey looked dapper in a white sherwani.
On the work front
The Mirzapur actor was last seen in Mumbaikar alongside Vijay Sethupathi. He has some interesting projects lined up. He will next be seen in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 12th fail. He also has Aditya Nimbalkar's Sector 36,
