One of the most loved and anticipated Tamil movies, Veera Dheera Sooran, starring Chiyaan Vikram, saw a decent run at the box office. The film saw a theatrical release on March 27, 2025. And now, Veera Dheera Sooran is streaming on OTT.
Chiyaan Vikram`s crime drama is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The OTT giant took to social media and announced the exciting news.

Veera Dheera Sooran producers in legal trouble
The makers of the Tamil crime drama were in serious legal trouble a few weeks ago. The film is produced by Riya Shibhu and also features S.J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan, and Siddique Mamathu in key roles.

During its theatrical release, the SU Kumar directorial faced some legal trouble, which resulted in the cancellation of several of its morning shows. This affected Veera Dheera Sooran`s box office collection.
Reportedly, B4U approached the Delhi High Court to stall the release of the film until their issues with the production house, HR Pictures, were sorted. Riya Shibhu allegedly failed to abide by the contract of selling the movie`s OTT rights before its theatrical release.
Another news agency reported that the producer was asked to deposit 7 crore and file all the related s within 48 hours of the case filing.

The Chiyaan Vikram starrer follows the trajectory of SS Rajamouli`s Baahubali, with a prequel, Veera Dheera Sooran Part 1, which is yet to go on floors.
The film revolves around a common man named Kaali, a provision store owner who leads a normal life. This is until things take a dark turn when he is dragged into a dangerous crime network and embarks on a secret mission.
The Tamil superstar was last seen in Pa. Ranjith`s Thangalaan, which is currently streaming on Netflix. He has Gautham Menon`s Dhruva Natchathiram in the pipeline.
