This week, the Kannada film industry will release five new movies and re-release `Jackie`, a classic film starring the late Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, also known as Appu. Here is the list of Kannada films that will be in theatres on March 15, 2024.Jackie
‘Jackie’ is a 2010 movie starring actor and philanthropist Puneeth Rajkumar. The actor would’ve celebrated his 49th birthday on March 17, 2024. Somu Sound Engineer
The action drama film, which releases this Friday, features Shreshta Basavaraj, Nivishka Patil, Jahangir, and Girish Jatti in the lead roles. The main character, Somu, is a hot-headed rural boy whose life takes an unexpected turn after a series of unfortunate events. Charan Raj composed the music for the film, which also marks Abhi`s directorial debut.
Kerebete

Gowri Shankar and Bindu Shivaraam play the lead roles, with Gopalkrishna Deshpande and Sampath Kumar in supporting roles. Kerebete marks Rajguru’s directorial debut.

The story takes an unexpected turn when he abducts the daughter of a wealthy businessperson. The film stars Dhanya Ramkumar, Arvind Rau, Rajesh Nataranga, and Bala Rajwadi in pivotal roles.
