In 2020, Rhea was allegedly accused of Sushant Singh Rajput's abetement of the suicide case, in which she spent a month in jail. Now, the actress has opened up about her rough phase and even asked if she has ever supplied drugs to the late boyfriend-actor.
In an interview with India Today, Rhea Chakraborty spilled the beans on many things about the
Sushant Singh Rajput death case and how it affected her. She spoke at length about how people see her with pitiful eyes, if she has gotten closure on the terrifying phase, and more.

The
Jalebi actress opened up about how people look at her with sympathy. While some are rooting for her, others are wondering how she is even alive after going through the media judgments and court trials.
"Honestly, when I enter a room, I can see it in people's faces. I can see people looking at me with pitiful eyes, ki kaise zinda hai (how is she alive), and some others are like we are rooting for her and she should go on," she said.

Sometimes they are looking at me and thinking she doesn't seem like a criminal. I can feel that thought at the same time. Does it matter to me? Absolutely not."
Has Rhea Chakraborty gotten the closure she wanted?
Talking about coming to terms with the
allegations and merciless things written about her, Rhea said, "I don't think closure is the right word. I don't think you can get closure from something like this. The thing is, I faced a personal loss. There can never be closure on that."
"It engulfs your life at the start, then your life starts growing around it. But it will always exist. It will always be in your back pocket. It will always come from the back of your mind and say that I am here. Don't think I am gone. So I don't think I will get closure in that sense. But has it changed my perspective? Yes," she continued.
Did Rhea Chakraborty ever give drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput?
For the uninitiated, the actress dated Sushant back in the day. While neither of them made their relationship public, it became the talk of the town after his death.

When asked if she ever supplied drugs to the later actor, Rhea denied and said she was "done with this topic. I don't want to talk about drugs I don't want to talk about NCB. I don't want to talk about CBI."
She further asserted that instead of drugs, people should be talking about her mental health and how she dealt with the situation after SSR's death.
About Rhea Chakraborty's arrest
It all started on June 14, 2020, when Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his
Bandra apartment. The actress was accused by the Chhichhore actor's family, as they registered a case of abetement of suicide against her.
At the same time, a probe into alleged drug procurement by her was also initiated based on the WhatsApp chats. The NCB charged Rhea under Section 27-A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, which is about "financing and harboring illegal drug trafficking."
After spending a month in jail, Rhea Chakraborty was finally granted bail by the Bombay High Court, and all charges related to Sushant's death and drug-related cases were dropped.
