Actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times during a shocking attack at his Bandra residence early Wednesday morning. The incident, which occurred around 2:30 am, has left the entertainment world shaken. Mumbai police are now investigating the case, suspecting a connection between the attacker and one of the actor`s domestic helps.
An officer involved in the investigation revealed that one of the domestic helpers might have allowed the attacker to enter the house. The help is currently being questioned to gather more information about the accused. “We suspect the help must have allowed him entry, and due to some reason a fight took place. She is being interrogated by the local police to get more details about the accused. Seven local police teams are working to track him down,” the officer said.

The police noted that the incident was not captured on CCTV cameras, as no one was seen entering the premises after midnight. It is suspected that the assailant entered the home earlier and hid inside, waiting for the right moment to strike.

In a statement, the police said, “An unidentified person intruded in the residence of actor Saif Ali Khan. The actor and the intruder had a scuffle. The actor is injured and is being treated.
