While she kept her wedding a private thing, Taapsee Pannu has never shied away from speaking about her husband, Mathias Boe. In a recent interview, the newlywed opened up about her decision to keep the biggest day of her life away from the public eye.

While there were leaked videos all over the internet, her friends from the industry, including Pavail Gulati, Abhilash Thapliyal, and Kanika Dhillon, posted pictures hinting at a very personal celebration.
In a recent chat with HT City, the Dunki actress opened up about her decision to keep her wedding with the badminton player away from the public eye.

When asked if she is planning to make an official announcement soon by sharing pictures from her wedding day on social media, the 36-year-old said she isn't really sure about the same.
'I just am not very sure if I want to let my personal life and the people involved in it go through the kind of scrutiny that happens when a public figure gets married," Taapsee said.
She further added, "It's me who has signed up for this, not my partner, not the people who were involved in the wedding. I am not sure about how I feel about it being out there that's why I've kept it to myself.'

She went on to say, "The people who are genuinely close to me were a part of the celebration and always knew about my relationship and my intentions about when and how I want to get married."
Taapsee Pannu on not making her wedding a grand affair
As someone who has always refrained from speaking much about her personal life, the actress admitted that somewhere she wanted to dodge all the judgments that followed such occasions and preferred to be with her loved ones instead.

"I just didn't want to make it a public affair, because then I will start getting worried about how it is perceived rather than really enjoying the way I would want to do it.," Taapsee said.
"Subconsciously, I would start thinking about how it feels from the outside, which I did not want to think about, especially for this one thing, because it's hopefully happening once in life!" she elaborated.
When asked if she would ever release pictures or videos from
her wedding day, she said she had no plans to go all out and talk about it just yet.
'In the future, if I get comfortable sharing about it (wedding details), we will figure out how, what, and when I want to release something, if at all,' Taapsee Pannu concluded.
