Sohail Khan opens up on why he got divorced with Seema Sajdeh
After years of gossip and speculation, actor Sohail Khan finally breaks silence on his divorce from his ex-wife, Seema Sajdeh. For the uninitiated, the two were married for 24 years and share two children.
The duo tied the knot in 1998 through an Arya Samaj wedding followed by a Nikah to honour both religions. They were married for over two decades before parting ways in 2022.
Now, the Aryan actor opened up about his heartbreaking story with Seema and shared the real reason for their divorce. He blamed constant conflicts as a key reason for their separation.

“I have lived 24 years with Seema. She is a beautiful girl, and somewhere, some things didn’t work out. But that doesn’t change the equation Seema and I have. She’s a lovely person and a very caring mother. It is always decided that once a year, as a family, we take our kids out for a holiday and enjoy ourselves. We will just be individual parents and have a great time,” the actor shared.

He went on to recall how their constant bickerings and fights were starting to affect their children.
He further added, "When the husband and wife start fighting, it only affects the children. The ego that the husband and wife have – they don’t realise that it affects the children, and then the children start getting disturbed. So they are spoiling the next generation."
"They are corrupting the next generation, and not just their lives. Then your children will grow up to be disturbed human beings. That is what I and Seema decided—that we didn’t want that," he concluded.

After a whirlwind romance of several years, the duo tied the knot in 1998. The former couple reportedly met on the sets of Sohail`s film, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya.
They share two sons, Nirvan and Yohan, who were both born through surrogacy. While Seema Sajdeh has previously opened up about her marriage and separation on the popular Netflix show, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. This marks Sohail Khan`s first public statement on the matter.
As of now, both of them are single and prefer to keep their personal lives away from the limelight.
