Last night, everyone was shocked to read the news of Shreyas Talpade's sudden heart attack, after which he had to be rushed to the hospital. As he came home from shooting on Thursday night, he felt a certain uneasiness. While going to the hospital, he collapsed on the way.

Now, his wife, Deepti Talpade, shared an update about his health. She took to her Instagram to release a statement where she wrote, "Dear friends and media, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming concern and well wishes following the recent health scare my husband experienced. I'm relieved to update everyone that he is now in stable condition and will be discharged in a few days.

Further speaking of the medical team, she added, "The medical team's exceptional care and timely response have been instrumental during this time, and we are grateful for their expertise."

Along with that, she ended the note by saying, "We kindly request respect for our privacy as he continues his recovery. Your unwavering support has been a tremendous source of strength for both of us. Wood regards, Deepti Shreyas Talpade."

The Golmaal actor had undergone angioplasty on Thursday night. A medical official said, "He was brought to the hospital late last evening, and an angioplasty was performed last night. He is fine. He is in the ICU."

Lately, there has been an increase in heart attacks among younger people. Recently, Sushmita Sen suffered a heart attack during the shoot for Arya. She spoke of her experience and resumed work just after a month of recovery.
