However, during the promotions of her last release, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, Shraddha Kapoor got rather emotional and recalled the time when she was once cheated on in a relationship.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar saw a fresh on-screen pair of Shraddha and Ranbir Kapoor. The movie revolved around a romantic drama that came along with several complications and cliche romance. It went on to do exceptionally well at the box office.

During the promotions of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, the actress spoke about her take on relationships, love, casual affairs, red flags while dating someone, and everything in between.
Both Shraddha and Ranbir promoted the movie individually, so as to let fans see them together on the big screen first. The film also speaks about modern relationships and how things soon start becoming frivolous.

'When people talk about these terms like situation-ship and all these new terms that exist, I'm just like, 'Kya hai wo?' What about eternal love? I don't think it's impossible. I'm an optimistic person, and I'd like to believe in fairytales,' said the diva.
When asked if lying in a relationship was a deal-breaker for her, she agreed and said, 'Yes. I feel we have all experienced 'jhoothis' and 'makkaars' in our lives. Even I have.'
As she hinted at being cheated on in a relationship, Shraddha Kapoor also gave a tip for everyone who is trying to move on from their past love affairs. When asked how she deals with it,
the Stree actress said, 'There's only one route you have to leave... exit.'
Shraddha Kapoor's past relationships
The Ek Villain actress was reportedly dating celebrity photographer Rohan Shreshta for four years. However, the two called it quits in 2022. While neither of them accepted or denied their relationship, the reason for their breakup remains unknown.
Shraddha has always preferred to keep her personal life low-key and away from the media's attention. At one point, rumors suggested the actress-photographer couple were serious enough to get married.
