Salman Khan is back headlining the Bollywood controversy column after gangster Goldy Brar threatened to kill the actor. A mafia member from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Brar, has issued an open warning to kill the Bollywood star. This comes amidst their past enmity, which has been going on for over two decades.

Goldy Brar, who is Lawrence Bishnoi's scandalous gang's crucial member, appeared in a TV interview. He is one of the most wanted and fugitive gangsters, and his whereabouts are still untraceable. In May, the Canadian government named Brar the country's most wanted top 25 criminals. His real name is Satinder Singh Brar.

Goldy Brar on killing Salman Khan

In a recent interview with India Today TV, the Canada-based fugitive gangster Brar was seen candidly speaking and openly threatening the actor. This is not the first time he has expressed his desire to kill Salman. He has issued several death threats in the past.

Along with the actor, Punjabi singer-rapper Honey Singh is also on his list. This led to an increase in and tightening of Salman's security. An FIR was also registered against the Bishnoi gang.

In the interview, Brar can be seen saying, "We will kill him. We will kill him. Bhai Saheb (Lawrence) had stated that he wouldn't apologize. Baba will show mercy only when he feels merciful."

For the uninformed, gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi was ready to let go of the animosity between him and the Ek Tha Tiger actor only if the latter issued a public apology to the Bishnoi community and visited their temple to seek forgiveness.

Goldy Brar further said that killing Salman Khan is their gang's life goal. "As we have said earlier, it's not just about Salman Khan. We will continue our attempts against all our enemies as long as we're alive. Salman Khan is our target there's no doubt about that."

The inception of the Bishnoi Gang vs. Salman Khan enmity

Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang have expressed their desire to kill the Dabangg actor several times. It all began in 1999 during the shoot of Salman's movie Hum Saath Saath Hai, where he was allegedly accused of hunting and killing two blackbucks.

The actor was sentenced to five years but was later released on bail. The Salman Khan Blackbuck case also involved his co-stars Saif Ali Khan and Sonali Bendre.

An endangered species in India, the blackbuck is considered a sacred animal for the Bishnoi community. Salman hunting the blackbuck was seen as an insult to the Bishnoi community. Lawrence, who happens to be the leader and notorious gangster of the community, was enraged by this act. This is when he decided to make the actor his next target.

Salman Khan has not responded to the death threats yet.
