Be it Radhe or Race 3, movie critic and trade expert Taran Adarsh opens up about why the Tiger 3 actor needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

Speaking to a leading media portal, Taran said, 'When you have films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan with Rs 300+ cr at the domestic box office, and this film falls short by leaps and bounds when it does Rs 100+ crore, that's a complete downfall.'

He even highlighted the solution for Salman's back-to-back flops. Taran said it is time the actor works with better directors and producers. He even went ahead to cite examples of how the actor's one small cameo can make the audience lose their minds.

'Salman should realize his potential. When he drops his scarf in Pathaan, people go bonkers, there are whistles and claps all around, and not just on single screens, it happened in multiplexes too. So, just imagine the star power of this person. I am sure Salman knows that too,' said Adarsh.

Taran Adarsh Thinks Salman Khan Needs a Reality Check

As per the film critic, Salman is not tapping on his acting and stardom power as much as he should and neither are the directors or producers he is working with. Taran thinks the audience is missing the actor's sensitive side which made him the monstrous star he is today. The way he displayed himself in movies like Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan is what moviegoers are now craving.

Taran also pointed out that Salman can work with the biggest of the filmmakers and producers but the 'egos of people are bigger.' He said, 'People have elephantine egos, aadmi baad mein aata hai humaare yahan, ego pehle aati hai. (People have big ego).'

He further thinks that it is about time the Dabangg actor needs a 'reality check' after delivering back-to-back Bollywood flops.

Taran said, 'It's high time they have a reality check and it's high time they come out of their ivory towers. After Sultan, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, you pick up films like Radhe, Race 3, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, I mean what? Kya hai ye? (What is this even) Your fans are bound to be dejected.'

On The Work Front

After the downfall of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman Khan will be next seen in Tiger 3. We will also see Pathaan star Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo role.
