This significant victory marks a new milestone for the artist and the group, even as it was a bittersweet win against his own bandmate, Jimin, who was also nominated in the same category.
RM has carved an unparalleled achievement as the first Korean rapper to not only be nominated at the AMAs as both a solo artist and a group member but also to win in this category.
