Ranbir Kapoor Starrer To Hollywood Star Mark Hans Zimmer Bollywood Debut
He must have played many characters, at times a boy next door or even an aggressive man obsessed with his father. But what fans are looking forward to the most is Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari`s Ramayana. The shooting for the film has already begun and will see a Diwali 2025 release.
Ramayana will also feature Sai Pallavi, Ravi Debuy, Sunny Deol, and Yash in prominent roles. Now, reports suggest the film will also have a Hollywood touch as superstar Hans Zimmer is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the Nitesh Tiwari directorial.
With global musician AR Rahman composing the music for Ramayana, the movie just gets interesting with every little detail revealed.

For the uninitiated, both Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman are Oscar-winning artists. The former became a household name with blockbuster movies like The Lion King, Man of Steel, Interstellar, Dark Knight Trilogy, and Inception, among others.
A source close to the development told the entertainment portal, “Hans Zimmer is gearing up to make his debut in the Indian film industry with Ramayana. Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari have always been vocal about their global vision for this Indian epic, and they are leaving no stone unturned to make that a reality."
"Hans Zimmer is also fascinated by the vision for the story of Lord Ram and is all ready to compose the score of the Ramayana," the source further added.

Talking about Rahman compiling music for Ramayana, the source also mentioned, “It’s a match made in heaven. Two global talents are set to team up to present India’s story to the world."
Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film comes with a stellar cast of many young and veteran actors.
With Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will be seen as Mata Sita. Television actor Ravi Dubey will play the role of Laxman, while Sunny Deol will be seen as Lord Hanuman.
The movie will see KGF star Yash as the menacing Ravana. Vijay Sethupathi has been approached for the role of Vibhishan. Actress Lara Dutta will play the role of Kaikeyi, while Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as Ravana`s wife, Mandhodhari.
Nitesh Tiwari`s Ramayana is aiming for a Diwali 2025 release in cinemas near you. However, there is no official confirmation on the same yet.
