Ranbir Kapoor is currently enjoying the massive success of his latest release, Animal. The films smashed box-office records and emerged as the third highest grossing films of 2023 after Jawan and Pathaan. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film focused on the troubled relationship between a father and son that takes a violent turn. Now, after playing a criminal in the film, he was seen donning the police uniform for an ad shoot with Rohit Shetty.

His photos from the shoot went viral on Wednesday evening as people wondered if they were doing a film together. Ranbir Kapoor looked absolutely stunning in the long moustache and uniform. Fans have asked for the two to collaborate on a film as they wanted to see Ranbir in a mass action entertainer directed by Rohit Shetty.

In the photos, Ranbir can be seen walking in an intense manner, preparing for the shot. In another, he was sitting on a chair with a serious look on his face. In the comments, one fan wrote, "So beautiful,so elegant, just looking like a wow." Another one wished, "We want a movie with this look of RK." Another user commented, "It would be our pleasure to see Ranbir Sir in the role with character of a police officer."

Yesterday, some more speculations were created about a sequel to Ranbir Kapoor's much-loved film, Wake Up Sid. Karan Johar posted a video on Instagram with the music of Wake Up Sid. It was reportedly for an ad in which Ranbir was shooting with Konkona Sen Sharma. In the caption, Karan wrote, "Is this really happening? All I know is that something exciting is brewing, and I couldn't have woken up to a better piece of news."

This speculation created quite a stir among fans who wanted to see a reboot of Wake Up Sid.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rohit Shetty has two big releases this year. His web series, Indian Police Force Season 1, is dropping on Amazon Prime Video on January 19. It stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi in the lead roles. Apart from that, he also has Singham Again, which is releasing on Independence Day and is expected to be a multi-star action thriller.

On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor will start shooting for Nitesh Tiwari's adaptation of the epic of the Ramayana, in which he plays the role of Lord Rama.
