RC 16 Launching Ceremony With Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Chiranjeevi
The lines between languages and regions are blurring, thanks to the effortless synchronization of the Hindi and South film industries. As prominent B-town actors make their glorious debuts in regional movies, celebrities from down south are showcasing some incredible work in Bollywood.
Speaking of upcoming South Indian movies, guess which Bollywood actor is all set to make her Tollywood debut? Janhvi Kapoor will be seen next in RC 16 alongside Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi.
The news was announced on her 27th birthday in March earlier this year. This will mark Janhvi Kapoor`s second South Indian film after Devara. It stars Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan in the lead.

The movie is helmed by Buchi Babu Sana and Mythri Movie Makers. Pictures from the launch ceremony are doing the rounds on the internet.
While the Dhadak actress looked gorgeous in a sea green saree with a shimmery blouse, Ram Charan kept it simple with an all-white outfit. Chiranjeevi opted for a blue shirt paired with denims.
Oscar-winning music producer AR Rahman, who will be composing the music for RC 16, was also seen at the launch ceremony.
The movie is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and Mythri Movie Makers. It stars Ram Charan, Janhvi, and Chiranjeevi in prominent roles. The storyline and other cast details are kept under wraps.
The movie is likely to hit theaters in December 2024. However, there is no official statement on the release date from the makers yet.
In an interview, she was asked if the language was easy to grasp. Sharing one of her biggest regrets, Janhvi said not learning Telugu is something she isn`t proud of.

“I never learned Telugu, and it is something I am ashamed of. I can understand it phonetically, but I can’t speak it. Yes, it is one of my biggest regrets. This part of me had been dormant for a while. But the Devara team is very patient and helpful. They are working with such stalwarts, and I am so grateful they are just a call away to help me with my lines,” said the actress.
Speaking about her upcoming project with Ram Charan, it seems Boney Kapoor is far more excited than the actress herself.
In an interview, the filmmaker said, “My daughter has already shot for a film with Jr. NTR. She’s loving every bit of the day she spends on sets here. Soon, she will start a film with Ram Charan too. These two boys are doing very well."
"She has been watching a lot of Telugu films, and she feels blessed to work with them. Hopefully, the films will work, and she will get more work. She will also act with Suriya soon. My wife (Sridevi) acted in multiple languages; I hope my daughter does the same,” he further added.
