With lines between Bollywood and other Indian regional cinema blurring, many Hindi film industry actors have been keen on being a part of South movies. One of the actors who will soon be seen making her Telugu movie debut is
Janhvi Kapoor.
After grabbing Devara as her first regional project, the actress is all set to make her mark in yet another South Indian blockbuster, this time with RRR superstar Ram Charan.
On the occasion of Janhvi Kapoor's 27th birthday, the production house behind RC16 made a very exciting announcement. Janhvi Kapoor is to star in the upcoming untitled film, currently termed RC16, opposite
Ram Charan.
The film will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who shared that he's been writing the film for the past four years and expects it to be a blockbuster. According to some reports, RC16 will be a sports drama set in a rural village, with Kabaddi as its central theme.

Production house Mythri Movie Makers took to their Instagram handle to announce the exciting news on the Dhadak actress's birthday. The caption reads, 'Welcoming the celestial beauty on board for #RC16. Happy Birthday to the mesmerising Janhvi Kapoor.'
RC16 will be Janhvi's second Telugu-language film. Janhvi Kapoor's will debut in the Telugu film industry with her upcoming movie
Devara: Part 1.
She will be the female lead, alongside Jr. NTR and co-starring Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Koratala Siva, this film is set to release in theatres sometime in October 2024.
While confirming the news of Janhvi's entry to RC16, her father, Boney Kapoor, shared, 'My daughter has already shot for a film with Jr. NTR. She's loving every bit of the day she spends on sets here. Soon, she will start a film with Ram Charan too. These two boys are doing very well. She has been watching a lot of Telugu films, and she feels blessed to work with them.'

The year 2024 seems to be very productive for Janhvi, as she is gearing up for multiple releases this year. Janhvi will be seen in 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi,' a sports drama co-starring Rajkumar Rao.
The film will hit the screen on April 19, 2024. This film will be her second collaboration with
the Roohi actor.

This film is backed by Dharma Productions and will be written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari' is slated to release on April 18, 2025.
