Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni. The two lovebirds turned their friendship into romance as they tied the knot on June 14, 2012. The actor turns a year older today.
Even though the couple has been married for over a decade, their romance and chemistry keep getting better with each passing day. Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni welcomed their first child, a daughter whom they named Klin Kaara, on June 20, 2023.
As
the RRR actor celebrates his 39th birthday today, here's a throwback to the time when he opened up about how his wife would easily feel jealous of him doing intimate scenes on-screen.

While he is a celebrated actor across the globe, Kamineni comes from a non-filmy background. The two were friends before they started dating. In an old interview, Ram
opened up about how it took time for his wife to get comfortable with the industry.
In fact, he recalled how he had to take her along on a film set to make Upasana understand how movies work. He even mentioned she would get jealous of the way Ram connected with his mother, Surekha.

As far as intimate scenes are concerned, I guess I shouldn't lie about it. Yes, she was not comfortable with it initially," Ram Charan said.
He further added, "It's understandable she comes from a very different background, so it was hard for her to accept me doing these scenes. Frankly, I wasn't sure she would understand, but to my surprise, she did! She's very mature, and I love how she has blended into my family.'

In a recent interview, the celebrity wife opened up about how she took time to get comfortable with her husband-actor romancing other actresses on-screen.
Talking to Galatta Ritz, Upasana said it was initially difficult for her to understand as the two come from separate worlds. However, the
Game Changer actor explained how the industry works and made sure she was comfortable.

I'm like, Come on, what is this? But he's like, please understand, this is my profession, and this is what happens. He explained the technicalities, and now everything is fine," Upasana Kamineni said.
She further added, "Initially, I didn't understand we came from two different worlds. But there's no one he has better chemistry with than me he looks the best with me.'
