A source close to the Doctor G actress and
the producer revealed some interesting details.
"Choosing ITC Grand Goa as their wedding venue reflects the couple's taste for elegance and opulence. The sprawling property, nestled in the serene landscapes of Goa, provides the perfect backdrop for a dreamy and intimate celebration," said the source.
Initially, Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh had zeroed in on the Middle East as their wedding location. However, after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged people to explore India first, the couple changed their destination to Goa to encourage more local tourism.

Another source close to the couple revealed more details about
the wedding. Both Rakul and Jackky have always been vocal about climate change and environmental protection.
As per the source,
their wedding functions will begin on February 19, and no crackers will be burst. Instead, they will plant trees as a sign of celebrating their love.
'No physical invitations have been sent by the couple and their family. Also, no crackers will burst at any point,' the source mentioned.
A three-day elaborate function will be as eco-friendly as possible. Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh have also onboarded a team of carbon footprint measurement experts.
The source added, 'These people will measure the carbon footprint generated during this couple's wedding ceremonies. They will then tell them how many trees are needed to be planted in accordance with the footprint. It's a unique step, definitely. The couple will themselves plant it, either immediately after the marriage ceremony or the following day.'
