Prithviraj Sukumaran Breaks Silence On L2 Empuraan And Sikandar Clash

L2 Empuraan clash with Sikandar
This year will see yet another massive cinematic clash of two much-anticipated movies – L2: Empuraan and Sikandar. While Prithviraj Sukumaran`s action drama releases on March 27, Salman Khan continues his tradition of Eid releases with Sikandar hitting the theatres on March 30.
With the two superstars being busy promoting their respective movies, critics and trade analysts feel L2: Empuraan will have a slight upper hand since it is making the most of the Eid weekend.
In one of the recent interviews, Prithviraj broke his silence on the Empuraan and Sikandar clash, giving a diplomatic yet perfect answer.

The Mohanlal starrer will face a direct clash at the box office with Salman Khan`s action-packed commercial film, which is helmed by AR Murugadoss. With both movies bringing in a stellar star cast, it will be interesting to see which outperforms the other.
In a recent interview, the Malayalam actor-filmmaker opened up on the massive cinematic clash. However, rather than being competitive, he praised Salman and the grand scale of the film.

Sukumaran said, “Sikandar is a huge, huge project. It`s Salman, sir, one of the biggest superstars that the country has ever seen. And as usual, he is coming on Eid with this banger of a commercial flick with AR Murugadoss, sir. I wish the team the absolute best. I hope the film goes on to become a blockbuster. I will have no complaints if you watch 11 AM Sikandar and 1 PM Empuraan.”
These words of praise coming from a respectable star like Prithviraj show how Salman`s legacy and fame have impacted the nation as a whole. The Ek Tha Tiger actor enjoys immense love from fans and colleagues from different industries alike, making him one of the biggest stars in the country.
About L2: Empuraan
The much-awaited sequel to the 2019 release, Lucifer, Empuraan, is set to bring back a tale of action, drama, revenge, and everything in between. Superstar Mohanlal will be headlining the film along with Prithviraj Sukumaran.
The film also stars Tovino Thomas, Abhimanyu Singh, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Manju Warrier in prominent roles. Mohanlal revives his character as the witty Khureshi-Ab`raam.
L2: Empuraan will see a theatrical release on March 27.
