Paresh Rawal confirms exit from Hera Pheri 3
One of the most awaited sequels, Hera Pheri 3, had fans and cinephiles excited. While the cast had begun shooting for the film, there came shocking news. Paresh Rawal confirms walking out of Hera Pheri 3.
Paresh Rawal, who plays the role of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, confirmed on Sunday that he is no longer a part of the third franchise. Earlier, reports claimed he had exited due to creative differences with director Priyadarshan. However, the actor clarified and denied the same.
For the uninitiated, Hera Pheri 3 is the third part of the iconic comedy franchise Hera Pheri. The first film was released in 2000 and it was followed by a sequel, Hera Pheri 2, in 2006.
Paresh Rawal confirms exiting Hera Pheri 3
The veteran actor, whose role in the Hera Pheri franchise was widely loved, shocked his fans by revealing the heartbreaking news. He took to X (formerly Twitter) and clarified the real reason for his exit.
Many reports suggested that his decision came amid creative differences with Priyadarshan. However, Rawal clarified the same and denied these rumours.

He tweeted on Sunday and wrote, “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENTS WITH THE FILMMAKER. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr Priyadarshan, the film director.”

Paresh Rawal`s character in Hera Pheri was widely loved and became an instant fan favourite. His dialogues and expressions continue to be raging memes even today.
Suniel Shetty reacts to Paresh Rawal`s exit
In a recent interview, Shetty confirmed the news and also mentioned Hera Pheri won`t be the same without Raju and Babu Bhaiyya.
Emphasising the trio`s chemistry, he said, “If it was Hera Pheri, if it wasn’t Babu Bhai (Paresh Rawal) and Raju (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Suniel Shetty) wouldn’t exist, and Shyam has no meaning. And you take any one of them out, and the film doesn’t work.”
Priyadarshan`s comedy-drama franchise brought together Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal as a crazy, iconic trio that took the audience on a rollercoaster of laughter.
The third installment is reportedly helmed by the legendary filmmaker again. However, with the Hungama actor`s exit, it is yet to be seen who will make it to the final cast of Hera Pheri 3.
