Paresh Rawal is known to surprise fans with his incredible acting. But last year, in November, the actor gave all the fans the shock of their lives when he confirmed Kartik Aaryan would be replacing Akshay Kumar in Hera Pheri 3. Taking it to Twitter, Paresh confirmed Kartik's involvement in the much-awaited sequel, which had fans giving mixed reactions.
While things stirred a little, Paresh Rawal recently addressed the same. He confirmed
Kartik Aaryan is no longer a part of Hera Pheri 3. While Akshay Kumar and Kartik were both to be a part of the upcoming movie, the latter's role was meant to be drastically different.

He said the new addition was clearly different from Akshay's character, Raju. He also emphasized that Kartik's role brought a different perspective to the script and had his own unique attributes.
'Kartik Aaryan had a different role in the film. He was not supposed to play Raju, who was played by Akshay Kumar in the first two films. Kartik's character wasn't cut from the same cloth as Raju's and was made with a different fabric. Kartik's role was different and had a different kind of energy than Raju's. The premise of his character was different. One shouldn't be afraid of backlash. And once people watch a film, they forget all the backlash," said Rawal.
While discussing the broader context of the movie, Paresh Rawal did agree that things got a little out of hand because of his one tweet.
He added,
'There was a sense of overconfidence, and that shouldn't have happened. Suniel Shetty Anna was earnest and honest, and he carried the legacy of Shyam in an amazing way. Characters and premises like Hera Phericome our way very rarely.'On the work front
Paresh Rawal will be seen in Dream Girl 2 alongside
Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday. The film also stars Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Manoj Joshi, Seema Pahwa, Vijay Raaz, and Rajpal Yadav in prominent roles.
Dream Girl 2 is all set to release on August 25.
