Actor Mannara Chopra is mourning the loss of her father, Advocate Raman Rai Handa, who passed away on June 16 at the age of 72. The actor, who is the cousin of stars Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra, shared the devastating news with her followers on social media, paying a heartfelt tribute to her beloved father.
Raman Rai Handa was a respected lawyer practising at the Delhi High Court. According to reports, he had been unwell for a few days, though the specific cause remains undisclosed. He is survived by his wife, Kamini Chopra Handa, and their two daughters, Mannara and Mitali. The family, including his nieces Priyanka and Parineeti, often gathered for festivals and celebrations, sharing a close bond.
The funeral is scheduled to be held on June 18 at 1 PM at the Crematorium Ground in Amboli, Andheri West, Mumbai, where family and friends will gather to pay their final respects.

However, it was her recent stint on reality television that brought her widespread recognition. Mannara became a household name after participating in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 17, where her strong personality helped her finish as the second runner-up. "With profound grief and sorrow, we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025.
