Karisma Kapoor had appeared as a guest judge for one episode of Dance Deewane. One interesting backstory about Dil Toh Pagal Hai is that no actress wanted to play Karisma’s role back then. The actress had to play a supporting role against Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit, as well as challenge Bollywood’s dancing diva at the same time, which may have seemed like an insurmountable challenge back then. Leading heroines like Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Urmila Matondkar, Raveena Tandon, and Manisha Koirala rejected this opportunity before Karisma. It`s worth noting that the actress went on to receive a National Film Award for her role in this film.
