Actor Muzammil Ibrahim Claims He Dated Deepika Padukone For 2 Years Long Ago

Global star Deepika Padukone is a titan of the Indian film industry, celebrated for her blockbuster films and international acclaim. While her high-profile marriage to Ranveer Singh is well- ed, a voice from her past has recently emerged with a surprising story. Model-turned-actor Muzammil Ibrahim has claimed that he was in a two-year relationship with Deepika long before she became the superstar she is today.
He fondly recalled their simple dates, a stark contrast to their lives now. “We were kids then. We would go on dates in a rickshaw in the rains. That was very cute,” he shared. Since these were their early days, money was tight, but he remembers making her birthday special. “Even with no money, the DJ would play the song that she liked because I was friends with the DJ. For an hour and a half, he just played that song because it was her birthday,” he recalled.
According to Muzammil, it was Deepika who asked him out, but he was the one who ended the relationship. "I was a star at that time; she was not. She is a superstar now. Everyone knows her; nobody knows me," he candidly admitted. Despite the breakup, he holds no ill will. "I am a big fan. I love watching her movies. She is a beautiful woman. She is doing so great, but the fact is what it is."
Muzammil, who won the Gladrags Manhunt India in 2003 and starred in films like `Dhokha`, couldn`t sustain his initial success. In contrast, Deepika`s career soared after her debut in `Om Shanti Om`.

In a recent chat with Siddharth Kannan, Muzammil Ibrahim opened up about his alleged romance with Deepika Padukone. Their story, he says, began in the early 2000s when both were finding their footing in the modelling world. "We were in a relationship for two years," Muzammil stated, adding that he was the first person she met upon moving to Mumbai.He fondly recalled their simple dates, a stark contrast to their lives now. “We were kids then. The two remained on friendly terms for a while after their split. “Before she got married, we would talk sometimes,” Muzammil mentioned, sharing that they would occasionally congratulate each other on their achievements. However, he confirmed they haven`t been in touch since her 2018 wedding to Ranveer Singh, with whom she now shares a daughter.
