Sanjay Leela Bhansali who took our expectations through the roof. As the filmmaker announced his upcoming project and a stellar cast headlining the same, we cannot wait to see Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal together on the big screen.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War will bring together the three phenomenal actors who will unite for the first time for a theatrical release. While
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have worked with the filmmaker in the past, this would be Vicky Kaushal's first ever Bhansali movie.
The three actors have worked together in pairs but have never appeared together in a movie.
About Love and War
The announcement of Love and War was made on Wednesday when rumors arose about the trio coming together for a Bhansali movie. The news was confirmed after Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram and shared a post on the same.
The statement on the post read, "We bring you Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic saga, 'Love amp War'. See you at the movies! Christmas 2025." It also mentioned Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky's names on the post, along with their autographs.

Vicky Kaushal also shared the same and wrote, "An eternal cinema dream has come true. (red heart emoticon)"
The project marks Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's second collaboration with Bhansali after Gangubai Kathiyawadi (2022) and Saawariya (2007), respectively. It was the filmmaker who launched Ranbir in Bollywood.
Alia even went on to win
the National Award for her terrific performance in Gangubai Kathiyawadi, where she played the role of a sex worker hailing from Kamathipura.
On the work front
Speaking of their on-going projects, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Jigra, an action drama produced by herself and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. She was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with Ranveer Singh.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar alongside Shraddha Kapoor. He is all set to play the role of
Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, which also stars Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Yash in key roles.
As for Vicky Kaushal, his last film, Sam Bahadur, performed exceptionally well at the box office. It clashed with Ranbir's Animal. He will next be seen in Laxman Utekar's Chava.
