The new episode of Koffee With Karan 8 is going to be a fun ride. As with other episodes, some interesting revelations are going to be made about some of the films and stars that we live with. The episode will air on Thursday, and the guests for the week are the dynamic duo of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, who have given us some really memorable films in the past.
During the episode, it was Karan Johar who shared an interesting anecdote about the late Amrish Puri, who was a legendary actor. Karan revealed that during the shoot of DDLJ, he was the AD for the film and used to get intimidated by Amrish Puri.

He said to Ajay and Rohit, "I have to tell you, my father and Amrish ji (Amrish Puri) come from the same village, so the first person my father told me whose feet I had to touch was Amrish ji's."

Further, he added, "So I used to be very scared of him. When I was an AD on Dilwale, he was particular about detailing. He would come and say, 'Ki time kya hai? I gave it time. I thought he was asking me the time. He said, 'London mein iss waqt time kya hai? Scene ka time kya hai? Taaki mein ghadi ko uss time mein set karu."
Karan Johar used to be very scared of him as he asked him certain questions pertaining to the film and the scenes. Further, even Ajay Devgn had some fond memories of working with Amrish Puri. He said that the first shot that he took with Amrish Puri, he felt compelled to touch his feet.
He also said, "They used to say, and it is a fact, that kisi ke ghar pe shaadi ho, kisi ke ghar pe koi death ho jaaye, he was the first man to be there."
There will be more such discussions and anecdotes shared by Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty during the episode of Koffee With Karan 8. The episode will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hotstar starting December 21.
