The latest season of Koffee With Karan is here and it has already made everyone fall in love with the show again after the criticism it received last year. In the two episodes released till now, the conversations reflected the often less-talked about vulnerabilities of Bollywood stars.

While the first episode saw Deepika and Ranveer sharing their own insecurities and troubles that marriage brings, in the second episode Bobby Deol shared the dark side of acting in the industry.

Now, in the third episode airing on Thursday with Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday on the couch, Karan speaks of his friendship with Kareena Kapoor and Kajol. In the past, he had a fall out with both of them who were among his closest friends at one point.

He shared some differences with Kareena Kapoor over Kal Ho Na Ho and after that he decided that he is never going to speak with her again. However, when his father's illness came about, Kareena gave him a call.

Karan says, "She was silent, I was silent. She was like, 'I don't know what to say.' I told her, 'Don't say anything, I know you are there.' When he passed away, she was in Bangkok, and the minute she landed from her shoot, she came home. We spent all night chatting. We went back to where we were,".

Years later, he and Kajol had some arguments during the clash of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay in 2016. They had stopped talking to each other completely.

"We hadn't spoken in two years. When Yash and Roohi were born, I just sent her their images. I said, 'You don't need to reply, but these are what my children look like.' She messaged back, saying, 'I am full of love right now.' A month later, she said, 'It's my birthday, you don't have to come.' But I went. We hugged, we cried, and it was done." He says.

Karan is now friends with both Kareena Kapoor and Kajol and their bond has only become even stronger.

The third episode of Koffee With Karan 8 airs this Thursday on Disney Hotstar.
