Karisma Kapoor`s heartfelt message for her fans after Sunjay kapuur`s death
Karisma Kapoor and her kids have been going through a tough time after her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur, passed away on June 12 after suffering a cardiac arrest. For the uninitiated, he swallowed a bee while playing golf. That shock triggered a heart attack, and Sunjay couldn`t survive the same.
The actress recently celebrated her 51st birthday and thanked her fans and followers for their heartfelt wishes. However, it wasn`t the kind of birthday she`d hoped for.
Karisma Kapoor and her kids, Samaira and Kiaan, flew to Delhi to attend Sunjay Kapur`s funeral. They were even present at the prayer meet and stood by his now wife, Priya Sachdev.
Karisma Kapoor`s heartfelt note for her followers
The Biwi No.1 actress took to Instagram stories and shared a heartfelt note, thanking her close friends and followers for the support and wishes during the tough time. This was the first time she was active on social media after her ex-husband`s sudden demise.
She wrote, “Thank you, everyone, for your warm wishes and support (red heart and folded hands emoticons).”

On Wednesday, Karisma`s sister, Kareena Kapoor, shared a heartwarming post on her birthday and acknowledged the tough times they`ve had as a family.
Sharing an old picture, Bebo`s post read, “This is my most favourite picture of you both (heart emoji)... To the strongest and the bestest girl in the universe… It’s been a tough year for us. But you know what … As they say, tough times don’t last … the toughest sisters do… To my sister, my mother, my best friend … Happy birthday. My Lolo (heart emoji) @therealkarismakapoor.”

Sunjay and Karisma Kapoor tied the knot in 2003. The couple share two children, Samaira (19) and Kiaan (13). In 2014, the two filed for a divorce through mutual consent, which was approved in 2016.
While Sunjay went on to marry actress Priya Sachdev, Lolo chose to remain single and focused on being a doting mother.
The industrialist`s sudden demise shook the internet after he accidentally swallowed a bee while playing golf with his friends. He passed away on June 12 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
His company, Sona Comstar, cited the reason for his death as `heart attack` but did not dive deep into details.
