K-Pop star Jackson Wang appears on The Kapil Sharma show
K-pop star and Korean sensation Jackson Wang graced the couch of The Kapil Sharma Show during his India tour. The GOT7 member had a gala time at the comedy show and met some of his die-hard Indian fans.
At the same show, Kapil Sharma asked Wang if he was dating actress Disha Patani. The Magic Man hitmaker rubbished all the rumours, and without missing a beat, he said, “We are only friends.”
For the uninitiated, the Kalki 2898 AD actress gave the Korean star a city tour during his visit to Mumbai when he came to perform at Lollapalooza in 2023. A video featuring the two went instantly viral. They were seen doing touristy things in the city.
Their camaraderie, while heartwarming, was misunderstood for an affair – a common mindset often followed in the film industry when two people of opposite genders are spotted hanging out together.
In his recent appearance on the BeerBiceps podcast, the singer revealed that he is very much single and in no hurry to find love. Jackson Wan fans, you can all take a deep breath.

However, his one comment left his fans a little unsettled. He complained of not being recognised as much as he`d hoped in the country. He claimed that Indian clubs didn`t really recognise him and only asked for his signatures for `their friends`.
He continued with his signature satirical flair and hinted this might be his last visit to India. His comment, “Maybe this is my last visit to India. I’m so sad” took the internet by storm. His consistent cheeky remarks and playful banter reassured fans he was only joking.
Earlier this year, Jackson Wang left the internet shaking and quaking with his highly unexpected collaboration with Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh on the track BUCK.
