Jitendra Kumar Reveals About A Misunderstanding Between Him And Panchayat Makers TVF
Panchayat season 3 has been taking the internet by storm with its incredible storytelling, compelling characters, and captivating plot. Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav`s exceptional performances have forced viewers to binge-watch the entire season in one go.
While the second season ended on Jitendra Kumar, aka Abhishek Tripathi`s, transfer to another remote village, thus sparking fallout rumors between the actor and Panchayat makers TVF,.
For the uninitiated, The Viral Fever (TVF) is an over-the-top media company that is known to bring in the web series culture in India with its show Permanent Roommates. Known for its shows like Pitchers, Aspirants, Kota Factory, and more, its latest release, Panchayat 3, has become an instant favorite.
Now, in an interview, Jeetu Bhaiyya opened up about what went wrong between him and the makers as he addressed the past rumors.
The feud was so controversial that fans started doubting Jitendra`s return to Panchayat. When asked about the same, he said it was just a simple misunderstanding.

“There was a lot of panic, and I could see that all over social media. The last season ended with Abhishek`s transfer, and that also spurred the buzz further. There was a misunderstanding, and honestly, main bhi pareshan ho jata tha (I would get troubled) answered the same questions. At one point, I was like, Aur mat poochon, bandh karo yeh (don`t ask about it, end it now)," Jitendra Kumar said.
He further added, "Given that I have had a long association with TVF, people were worried about what went wrong. I understood it`s their love, and we just waited for the first trailer to end all speculations.”
His character Abhishek, aka Sachiv Ji, gets transferred from Phulera, thus fueling rumors of him not being a part of Panchayat 3. He was also away from the much-anticipated TVF Pitchers Season 2.
He then became a household name with TVF Pitchers in 2015, where he played Jeetu, a character he shares with his name. Till date, fans fondly call him Jeetu Bhaiyya.
Followed by a bunch of TVF originals, Jitendra Kumar got massive breakthroughs with Kota Factory (2019) and Panchayat (2020). He also made his Bollywood debut in the 2019 release Gone Kesh, followed by Shubh Mangal Zyaada Savdhaan opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
He is currently basking in the success of Panchayat Season 3.
