Janhvi Kapoor Opens Up On Marriage Plans, Says She Wants A `Very Long` Honeymoon

Janhvi Kapoor wants to marry in Tirupati in an intimate ceremony
Janhvi Kapoor is currently basking in the success of her recent release, Param Sundari, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra. The actress channelled her semi-South Indian roots as she played a young diva from Kerala. While the movie is doing fairly well at the box office, Janhvi is brewing plans for her personal life.
For the uninitiated, Janhvi has been dating entrepreneur Shikhar Pahariya for quite some time. She has never shied away from accepting her relationship, but at the same time, she has kept it away from the limelight.
And now, the diva opened up on marriage, plans to have an intimate wedding at one of her favourite destinations, and wanting a long honeymoon.
Janhvi Kapoor shares her ideal wedding plans
The Param Sundari actress sat down for a candid chat with Vogue and shared her future wedding and honeymoon plans. On being asked how she envisions herself as a bride, she said she has been dressing up so much lately that she`d rather be dressed comfortably on her D-day.
“I know I want to get married in Tirupati. I definitely don’t want too many people there. I want it to be quick; I want the honeymoon to be very long. I definitely know that whatever I wear will be Manish (Malhotra), because he’s my favourite person and he’s family,” Janhvi said.

She also spoke about relationships in today`s fickle-minded times and admitted that it`s almost impossible to fall in love now. She termed today`s generation`s way of looking at romance as `transactional` and doubted if they have enough patience or openness to build a real connection.
Talking about herself, Kapoor added, “I’m a hyper-romantic, devoted individual. But I also think that I’ve been extremely lucky in my personal life, so I value and cherish how rare what I’ve found is. And I love the institution of marriage. I love the idea of creating a family life, a unit that is yours, of having someone who’s on your team, of being devoted to them.”
On the work front
Janhvi Kapoor was recently seen in Param Sundari alongside Sidharth Malhotra. The two actors were paired together for the first time on-screen, and their chemistry was loved by many.
She has some exciting projects in the pipeline, including Shashank Khaitan`s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan. The movie also features Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra in key roles.
