Do Aur Do Pyaar, she sat down for a rather candid chat with India Today to promote her recent release. In the same interview, Ileana spoke about her personal life, thus giving us a sneak peek beyond cinema.
In the same interview, she was asked about how supportive Michael Dolan has been when it comes to her career. The Barfi actress got rather emotional and gushed about her life with her husband.
Confirming her marriage, Ileana said, 'Married life is going beautifully. It's really hard to say what I love about him the most. I'll have to really think because I feel like every time I come up with an answer, there's something else that, you know, trumps that the next day."

He has seen me through some of my best times as well."
"He's just been constant from day one. He has been this constant supporter of love, and he's just been consistent. Weirdly, it is exactly like the dialogue from Do Aur Do Pyaar he shows up every day,' she further added.

Michael Dolan on May 13. It was almost a month before she announced her pregnancy.
Ileana D'Cruz on returning to films post-pregnancy
In the same chat with the news portal, the Main Tera Hero actor also spoke about her break from films and said it was a conscious decision to stay away from all the glitz and glamour.
"Obviously, you want to do as much work as possible, but you also want to do good work. I think what happened was 2020. My film Tera Kya Hoga Lovely was released and a COVID hit. Even Do Aur Do Pyaar was shot in 2021, but it was released now. So, everything got pushed," Ileana revealed.

So, it's never been a conscious choice to say, 'Okay, you know what, I'm not going to stay away from home.'"
"I think the only conscious choice I'm making right now is to be with my baby. But, before that, there was never any decision to take a break and not work. Now, I'm glad that people are finally appreciating the work that's coming out," the diva concluded.
