Game of Thrones fans, brace yourselves as the battle is about to begin. HBO released a new teaser of the Game of Thrones spin off, House of the Dragons and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Announcing the prequel two years ago, the fictional show is based on George RR Martin's novel Fire and Blood, and the history of the Targaryen family.

House of the Dragons is set two centuries before the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, which is where the popular series Game of Thrones was inspired from. The new teaser shows the House of Targareyn promising to keep their reign running in Wesreros. But what will House of the Dragons be without some intense twists and turns?

The teaser of House of the Dragons stars Matt Smith, Emma D'Arcy, and Paddy Considine in pivotal role portraying members of the Targaryen dynasty.


There's going to be some major conflicts over the successor of the Iron Throne within the house of Targaryen. Meanwhile Princess Rhaenyra (Evev Best) has been declared as the heir to King Viserys (Paddy Considine). However, she goes through a lot of blood and betrayals. The rivalry eventually leads to the Targaryen civil war, known as Dance of the Dragons.

The excerpt of the show is enough to give us goosebumps and escalate the curiosity.

'We play an ugly game," Hand of the King - Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) says sternly in the teaser. 'History does not remember blood, it remembers names," added Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith). The teaser also gives a glimpse of the location which will make you nostalgic.
