Actor Nani received a grand birthday gift on February 24, as the makers of his upcoming film HIT: The 3rd Case unveiled its much-anticipated teaser. The over one-minute-long teaser introduces fans to a new, intense, and violent side of Nani as Arjun Sarkaar, a cop with a short temper and a mission to solve a string of gruesome murders.
The teaser showcases Nani in a never-seen-before avatar, exuding raw aggression and intensity. His character, Arjun Sarkaar, is a police officer who isn’t afraid to use his fists to get to the truth. The gripping teaser follows Arjun as he investigates a series of murders, resorting to brutal force to uncover the hidden motive behind the crimes. He declares in a chilling dialogue, “Everybody is performing murders using the same method, which means there is some motive.”
In one intriguing scene, a woman questions Arjun`s identity, asking if he is truly a police officer. To this, he responds with an ominous remark: “People have believed this lie for too long. I will show you the original.” The teaser concludes with an intense action sequence, leaving fans excited for what’s to come. Nani`s blood-soaked look and fierce expressions indicate that this installment will take a darker and more violent turn than its predecessors.
Fans of Nani might find Arjun Sarkaar reminiscent of his previous role in Saripoda Sanivaram, where he played a character with anger issues. However, in HIT: The 3rd Case, his character`s violent nature seems to be an integral part of the story, with his lathi doing most of the talking.
The film is directed by Sailesh Kolanu and features KGF star Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. The cinematography is helmed by Sanu John Varghese, while Mickey J. HIT Franchise: A Legacy of Thrillers
HIT: The 3rd Case is a sequel to HIT: The Second Case, which starred Adivi Sesh and was released in 2022. The HIT franchise began in 2020 with HIT: The First Case, featuring Vishwak Sen. A Hindi remake of the first film, directed by Kolanu and starring Rajkummar Rao, was released in 2022.
