Hema Malini, Esha Deol share Dharmendra`s health update
Hema Malini and Esha Deol, along with the whole Deol family, have been under stress as veteran actor Dharmendra continues to struggle for his life. He has been on ventilator support since November 10. While the media was busy declaring him dead, Dharmendra`s family slammed the "false news" and gave an update about his health.
Bollywood`s Dream Girl took to X (formerly Twitter) and confirmed that he is "responding to treatment and recovering".
Her tweet read, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? The media is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."

Hema Malini`s statement comes after their elder daughter and actress, Esha Deol, shared a statement on Instagram, denying reports of Dharmendra`s passing.

She wrote, "The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa`s speedy recovery."
Esha even disabled the comments section of her post.

Even last night, on November 10, the Baghban actress took to Instagram and shared her husband`s health update. She thanked all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers.
Her statement read, "I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji, who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored, and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery."
On Monday night, Dharam Paaji`s first wife, Prakash Kaur, and his son, Sunny Deol, issued a statement, requesting privacy during these uncertain times.
"Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly refrain from spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family`s right to privacy," their statement read.
The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor has been admitted to Mumbai`s Breach Candy Hospital. Many celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, Salman Khan, and Govinda visited the ailing star.
