Fawad Khan`s Abir Gulaal Songs Deleted From YouTube Amid Pahalgam Attack

When Fawad Khan announced his return to Bollywood with Abir Gulaal, fans were ecstatic to see him on the big screens. His chemistry with Vaani Kapoor in the teaser and the film`s songs increased the intrigue. However, the recent Pahalgam attack changed it all for the Pakistani actor.
The recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam killed 27 civilians, including tourists, which shook the whole country. This also had the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) urge boycotting Fawad and other Pakistani artists from India again.
Amid the same, both songs from Abir Gulaal, namely Khudaya Ishq and Angreji Rangrasiya, have been deleted from YouTube India. Since the terror attack in Kashmir, the angst against the film has been increasing.
YouTube India deletes Abir Gulaal songs
Amid the roaring backlash, it seems the film`s content is slowly and quietly disappearing. Both songs, Khudaya Ishq and Angreji Rangrasiya, have been taken off from the video-sharing platform.

Originally, the songs were uploaded on the production house`s channel as well as Saregama`s official YouTube channel, which owns the music rights. Now, both videos are no longer available on YouTube India.
Another song, Tain Tain, was also supposed to be released on Wednesday. However, it hasn`t been released till now, and no official statement has been released by the makers.
Abir Gulaal won`t release in India
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has confirmed that Abir Gulaal won`t be releasing in India. This act followed the growing controversy around the Pahalgam terror attack.
Following the heartbreaking incident, FWICE issued a statement saying, "Despite the ongoing directive, we`ve been made aware of the recent collaboration with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan for the Hindi fil``m`Abir Gulaal`. In light of the recent attack in Pahalgam, FWICE is once again compelled to issue a blanket boycott on all Pakistani artists."
Hemled by Aarti S. Bagdi, the film starred Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor in titular roles. The ensemble also includes Farida Jalal, Ridhi Dogra, Soni Razdan, Lisa Haydon, and Parmeet Sethi in prominent roles.
Abir Gulaal was scheduled to release on May 9.
