Ridhi Dogra condemns Pahalgam terror attack
Amid the terrifying Pahalgam terrorist attack in Kashmir, the upcoming film Abir Gulaal, starring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor, is facing a huge backlash and calls for boycotting Pakistani actors yet again. This follows Fawad`s return to Bollywood after almost a decade.
It seems Ridhi Dogra, who will play a key role in the film, is in support of boycotting her film, as she condemns the terror attack in Kashmir which occurred on April 22.
For the uninitiated, terrorists struck at Pahalgam`s Baisaran Valley on Tuesday, killing at least 26 civilians, mostly tourists, and injuring several others. This has created a major political and social rift between the two nations.
Now, netizens are slamming Ridhi Dogra for speaking against the terror act while calling her a hypocrite for working with a Pakistani actor.
Ridhi Dogra defends working with Fawad Khan
After the actress spoke against the terror attack on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, netizens criticised her for her hypocrisy since she has shared the screen with Fawad Khan in Abir Gulaal.
When a user pointed out the fact that she worked with the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor, Dogra defended with a befitting reply and wrote, “Civilisation is based in community. Not isolating. But if we can open our arms and be welcoming, we can also close them when needed. And that`s fine too.”

She replied to another comment and wrote, “I DID (work with Fawad) when my govt allowed it. And I stand by the laws and rules. But I also know peace, grace and harmony are important for a healthy civilisation. Yes, there’s duality in these words, but that is the very life we lead. On this earth.”
“I won’t keep quiet just because of my profession. I choose peaceful collaboration. So don’t waste your anger on me. I’m as angry as everyone. I just choose to remain dignified towards others,” the Asur actress quoted, saying the issue isn`t about her.
