All about Farah Khan-Deepak Tijori kiss
Farah Khan and her cooking vlogs with cook Dilip are getting insanely popular. In her recent vlog, the choreographer-filmmaker visited singer Shaan`s house, where the two reminisced about the good old days. Did you know Shaan and Farah started their careers with the same film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander?
Their story goes way back before Shaan became India`s beloved singer and before Farah became a celebrated choreographer and director; their paths crossed on the sets of Aamir Khan`s film.
The movie went on to become a career-altering stint for Farah Khan. While she joined as an assistant director, she was soon asked to be the assistant choreographer and even fill in for one of the background dancers who failed to show up. Despite her valuable contribution, Khan revealed she never got paid for the project.

Recalling the experience with the singer, the Main Hoon Na director shared, “The first movie Shaan ever did was Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.” Agreeing with her, Shaan said, “Yes, I was there with a saxophone!” Farah replied, “And I was a junior dancer there.”
Her candid revelations left Shaan`s son surprised. She went on to clarify, “I was actually an assistant director, then became the choreographer. Every time a dancer didn’t show up, I would step in. There’s even a scene where Deepak Tijori kisses my cheek — the girl who was supposed to do it refused, so they sent me in instead.”
Sharing his own memory, Shaan said, “After shooting for four long days, I was seen for just a passing shot in the song. It was more like a medley of three different songs.”
Farah Khan laughed and continued, “I think it was a Jatin song—I was the choreographer. The makers were so broke that they simply pushed Jatin into the song too!”
The nostalgia hit hard when the Chand Sifarish singer revealed, “I received Rs 150 per day for four days, while others got Rs 75." A visibly shocked Farah Khan responded, “You got paid? I was never paid! But honestly, what that film did for me was worth more than any payment.”
