With every new release, Dunki is getting even better. Now, the song Lutt Putt Gaya has been released, and it focuses on the love story between Taapsee Pannu and Shah Rukh Khan. The song is composed by Pritam with lyrics by Swanand Kirkire and IP Singh. It is sung with melodious simplicity by Arijit Singh.

Shah Rukh Khan shared the song on Instagram and wrote in the caption, "Agar dance mein isse zyaada chhalaang lagata toh udd hi jaata. I hope ki yeh romance @taapsee aur aapke dilon mein bhi zaroor tent lagayega. @arijitsingh, your voice made me sound like love yet again. The song begins with Taapsee's character Manu taking Shah Rukh's Hardy out of a classroom and onto the streets. Just as this happens, the vocals begin. It is such a sweet melody that instantly registers in your mind. With steps choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, Shah Rukh Khan just nails it right away. After the overwhelming energies transferred by Jawan and Pathaan, this light-hearted song hits just the right notes.

Towards the end of the song, there is a sweet exchange of dialogue between Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu taking place inside a gurudwara. Shah Rukh Khan stares at her as she prays. She tells him not to stare. "Once we get the visa, then you can stare all you can," she adds.

The song also has the trademark lightheartedness that is reflected in the films of Rajkumar Hirani. In PK, it was Tharki Chokro in Sanju, Tu Badhiya Mai Bhi Badhiya and in 3 Idiots, it was All Is Well. Lutt Putt Gaya goes into the same zone and exhibits a fresh appeal with the vocals of Arijit Singh.

Rajkumar Hirani shared a glimpse of the song on Instagram and wrote, "Shahrukh ho aur romance na ho? I hope you all like this creation of @ipritamofficial, @arijitsingh, @swanandkirkire, @safirock, and @ganeshacharyaa."

With a song and teaser of the film out, it remains to be seen what the next drop will be about. Dunki releases worldwide on December 21. It also stars Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal in important roles.
