Dipika Kakar On Battling Stage 2 Liver Cancer, "Keep Me In Your Prayers"

TV Actress Dipika Kakar diagnosed with Stage 2 liver cancer
Popular television actress Dipika Kakar has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. She found a tennis ball-sized tumour in her liver a couple of days ago. Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, shared the shocking news, leaving fans heartbroken.
Shoaib took to his YouTube channel and shared Dipika`s health update on May 15 about suspecting a tumour in her liver. The doctors had asked the actress to undergo a few tests to determine the further course of treatment.
In her recent Instagram post, the Sasural Simar Ka actress shared an update and revealed her diagnosis. She revealed that the tumour is malignant (cancerous) and also mentioned how it all started.

Sharing a rather lengthy and heartfelt note, Kakar wrote, "As you all are aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us... walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper area of my stomach... and then finding out it`s a tennis ball-sized tumour in the liver and then finding out that the tumour is second-stage malignant (cancerous)... it has been one of the most difficult times we have seen and experienced!"

"I am all positive and determined to face this and walk out stronger, InshAllah! With my entire family being by my side and all the LOVE and PRAYERS pouring in from all of you, I will sail through this too! IshaAllah. Keep me in your prayers! Lots of love," she continued.
She requested her fans to "keep her in their prayers" and hopes she gathers strength to face the adversity with a positive attitude.
Shoaib Ibrahim`s reaction to Dipika Kakar`s cancer diagnosis
The actor, who keeps sharing his life updates on their YouTube vlog, shared how their son Ruhaan reacted to the heartbreaking news. Ibrahim also spoke about how the couple is navigating through these tough times.
Opening up on their two-year-old son`s reaction, Shoaib said, "Bohut samajhdaari se usne behave kiya (He has behaved in a very mature manner)."

Dipika also joined the vlog and added, "Usko pata hai ki mumma theek nahin hai, wo samajh gaya hai. Woh ek-aadh baar din me aake mujhe bolta hai, par phir wo samajh jaata hai ki mumma theek nahin hain. But yes, sab log hain. So, we are staying strong (he has understood that Mumma isn`t well. He comes to me once or twice a day, but then he realises that Mumma isn`t well. But yes, we have everyone around.)
They captioned their latest YouTube vlog, "Toughest phase of our life | Keep dipi in your prayers."
Dipika Kakar was last seen in Celebrity MasterChef India. The culinary reality show marked her television comeback after five years. However, she made a voluntary exit citing health reasons.
