De De Pyaar De 2 trailer
The much-anticipated trailer of De De Pyaar De 2 is out, and fans wonder if the sequel was really necessary. While the fun, satire, and humour stay intact, Tabu is not a part of the second instalment. While her exit has raised eyebrows, R. Madhavan`s entry is pleasantly surprising.
For the uninitiated, Tabu plays the role of Ajay Devgn`s on-screen ex-wife in De De Pyaar De. The drama multiplies when Rakul Preet Singh, who is Devgn`s girlfriend, finds out that the two are not divorced.
Now, the lead actor opened up about his co-star`s absence from the film and even hinted at the third part.

As the trailer was unveiled, the entire cast of the film gathered for a press meet. With old faces and some new ones, fans wondered why Tabu was not a part of the sequel.
When asked about the same, co-producer Luv Ranjan shared, "Hopefully, a third part will happen. In the first part, we went to the man`s house. Now, we`ve gone to the girl`s house. If everything goes well, then we`ll also make both families meet."

Ranjan hinted at a potential third instalment of De De Pyaar De, garnering mixed reactions from viewers.
The same question was then redirected to Ajay, who added, "Like Luv said, if everything works out very well, then when both the families meet, she`ll be a part of it."
A new director, a new vision
Interestingly, De De Pyaar De 2 also sees a change in the director. The first part was helmed by Akiv Ali; however, the sequel is Anshul Sharma`s vision.
When asked about the change, Ajay shared, "Anshul was involved throughout the making of Part One as well."
Luv Ranjan further explained, "He was the creative producer on Part One. Akiv wanted to do an action drama this time and didn`t want to repeat the same job."
Apart from Ajay Devgn, the film stars R. Madhavan, Javed Jaffrey, Meezaan Jafri, Rakul Preet Singh, and Gautami Kapoor. De De Pyaar De 2 will see a theatrical release on November 14.
